Makes the results coming from your medical equipment like scales, vital monitors, blood analyzers, dialysis machines and many more available to every computer on your network.
Connects to medical devices located far away at the patient's home or satellite sites in conjunction with telephone line communication equipment. Links your laboratory equipment to the network instead of building separated stand alone analyzer "islands".
The iSYLink network features:

  • 10BaseT Ethernet standard
  • IPX or IP protocols
  • Routing compatible
  • RJ45 plugs
  • Approved for use with medical equipment

Connects to medical devices via the commonly used RS232 interface, establishes the communication and records the device's data automatically without any control from a host computer. A large buffer keeps the recorded data as long as it can be delivered to the destination permanent storage. Direct connectivity to all medical devices compatible to FINESSE and fully opened for new serial protocols or protocol conversions. Handles up to 4 devices simultaneously.
The iSYLink input features:

  • 2 standard RS232 ports
  • Modem compatible
  • 2 opto-isolated RS232 ports
  • 2MB data storage buffer

For identification and assignment of data, iSYLink uses the built in reliable chip key interface. The feature of being able to read and write the electronic keys offers the possibility to store gathered data directly on the key. So iSYLink gives you the choice of connecting online by network or offline by transporting the information on the key.
The iSYLink key features:

  • Compatible to FINESSE keys
  • Key Read and Write functions
  • Various key capacities
  • LED status control

iSYLink gets available second quarter of 1999 ...
...and will be presented during the "Dialyse-Fachtagung" in Ulm, Germany in February 1999.
